How High Do I Hang Curtain Holdbacks I'm Trying To Hang A Curtain Rod Over A Window. However, I Can't Put A Screw In For A Center Bracket. Why?

I'm trying to hang a curtain rod over a window. However, I can't put a screw in for a center bracket. Why? - how high do i hang curtain holdbacks

I'm trying to hang a curtain rod on the window of the dining room of my mother. I drilled the hole, but can not take a screw, as deep as the hole. It's like the screw reaches a point where he can not go Furthur.

The same thing happened in my house for years.

Suggestions on what to do? I do not want the curtain rod set so high because they look good. But why can not I a right to place a large window?

Another idea, if you do not go through a path. Cut live long enough to go all the way in which the small hole. These should be kept in order to master (where the screw goes in at least 3 / 4 inches). Hope this helps.

You can not just a bolt or a cross in the window - I would get some anchors and drill the hole and have to use a disc in screws that come with it - safe, get one that supports weight curtains

Make sure you drill the hole and the screw length, which is only slightly smaller than the screw.

Ensure that the screw is larger than the hole in the clamp bodies.
