Tofu is super versatile ... can be used several ways. Drain liked it to have a bucket and then placed in an iron frying pan with a little (1 / 2-1 tsp) olive oil and toasted bread. I want to eat it with low sodium soy sauce and chopped spring onions. So rich!
On a personal level ... I do not use cooking spray ... I do not know how the unwanted chemicals in food (including reason for the casting decision and uncoated pans with Teflon non-stick) and a little healthy fat is good for you ... and necessary!

I use to make "cream potato puree. Have you spice up a while crushing the potatoes ... Add a little vegetable stock, salt and pepper. Yummy!

Baked Tofu Cutlets 16 oz Tofu 4 tbsp. fresh lime juice 4 tbsp. Soy sauce 1 teaspoon of tea. Honey 1 teaspoon of tea. fresh ginger root, chopped 1 teaspoon of tea. chopped garlic 1 teaspoon of tea. Chili Sauce
Cut the tofu into 4 lengths. Set aside. In a nonstick pan or baking dish large enough to keep the cuts in a single layer, combine lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic and chili sauce. Place tofu in marinade take and store in refrigerator and at least 2 or up to 6 hours, stirring occasionally there. Preheat the oven to 350F. Remove bowl from refrigerator and bring to room temperature. Bake for 45 minutes. Makes 4 servings. To Sv: 108 calories, 2 g fat, 1054mg sodium. Fried Tofu Student Vegetarian Cookbook by Carole Raymond (I use this recipe when I was in a hurry and do not turn on the stove)
1 block (12 ounces) extra firm tofu, or China (water) Hoisin sauce or marinade prepared
MARINADE 3 c. Soup. Balsamic Vinegar 3 c. Soup. Soy sauce 2 v. Tea. Tomato Sauce
1. To press tofu, tofu sandwich between two plates. Weighing Plate with a heavy book, and press for 30 minutes. Remove the weights and the upper plate and the water drain from the bottom plate. Tofu is now ready. 2. Preheat the oven. Slice the pressed tofu into thirds according to the length. Place tofu in a greased baking sheet and spread with tofu Marinade. 3. Grill tofu 3 to 4 inches from heat 5 to 7 minutes for each Side until golden brown and crispy on the edges. Serve freshly baked or a tofu sandwich on toasted multigrain bread topped with your Favorite ingredients. Makes 2 servings.
